There's a couple of different levels you could take this joke in, and incredibly, I think this joke is equally bad on all levels. That takes talent- not just everyone can accomplish that!

The context makes it funnier, because it was a spontaneous answer during a Q&A session. Otherwise it's just a groan evoking joke.
